Flowers grown here. Not flown in from abroad.
Around 90% of cut flowers sold in the UK are imported - air-freighted from Africa and South America, treated with chemicals to survive the journey, and refrigerated for days before they reach a florist.
Our flowers travel a few miles from our farm to you.
We grow everything from seed, in our fields in Bramhall, Cheshire. No chemicals, no peat, no cold-chain. Your wedding flowers are cut 24-48 hours before your big day - as fresh as if you’d picked them from the garden yourself.
The freshness shows. The scent is real. The stems move naturally. The colours are exactly what the season offers - not what survived a two-week industrial supply chain.

What our couples say
“
The flowers were everything we dreamed of. Having them grown just a few miles from our venue made it feel so personal. The scent of the sweet peas was unforgettable. Thank you Tom and Moorfield Farm!
Sarah, July 2024
“
We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the most beautiful flower buckets, buttonholes and a bridal bouquet of dreams for our wedding on 30 August!
They were stunning - the colours, foliage and quality - absolutely perfect. Knowing they were locally grown a bonus! The arranging of the flower stems into bud vases also gave me and my parents a really lovely ‘wedding activity’ before the day which we all enjoyed.
Thank you again, we really appreciate all of your hard work.
Rachel, August 2025
“
The buckets were perfect - exactly what we asked for. We arranged everything ourselves the day before our wedding and it was so much fun! Gorgeous flowers and the scent filled the room. Thank you.
Emma, July 2025
“
I came across Moorfield Farm Flowers just by chance after looking up local florists I could use for my wedding. They were a star find - I am so very glad I found them as they have been amazing and I couldn’t recommend them more. Tom was so lovely, helpful and positive and a delight to deal with - Laura the same. We couldn’t have been happier with the flowers they provided. My bridal bouquet was absolutely perfect, as were the buttonholes, and the buckets of flowers were so beautiful and perfect for the look and feel of our wedding. Thanks so much Moorfield Farm Flowers!
Imogen, June 2024
“
Choosing British-grown flowers for our wedding was so important to us. Tom and Laura were amazing throughout the whole experience and wow they delivered! Everyone was commenting on the flowers all day! The dahlias were stunning.
Caitlin, September 2023
“
Wow. We couldn’t have asked for more from a flower supplier. Moorfield Farm supplied flowers for our wedding of 120 people.
These guys were incredible. From their advice about what flowers and colours would work at that time of year, to the incredibly beautiful flowers we received. The whole service was stunning. Couldn’t recommend them more highly enough.

Our growing season
Our growing season runs from March through to late October, following the natural rhythm of British flowers.
The evolution of seasonal flowers is explained in our brochure - from the fresh, delicate tulips and spring bulbs of early March, to the rich abundance of dahlias and other seasonal showstoppers in summer and into October.
If your wedding falls outside of our growing season, do get in touch. We may still be able to help, or we’ll happily advise on the best options available.

Frequently asked questions

Our flower growing season runs from March to late October. We offer the widest choice of flowers between May and October, when the fields are most abundant. Don’t worry if your wedding falls outside this window, please get in touch - we may be able to help. Contact us at tom@moorfieldfarmflowers.co.uk or use the enquiry form at the bottom of this page.

Earlier is always better. We take a limited number of weddings each season to ensure we give every couple our full focus. For DIY flower buckets, we ask for a minimum of 4 weeks notice - though we can sometimes accommodate shorter notice depending on availability. For prepared pieces, allow 4-6 weeks. The full floristry service should be booked at least 6 months in advance as spaces are extremely limited.
-
Each bucket contains a beautiful mix of whatever is at its seasonal best on our farm that week - including focals, fillers, and foliage. We always ask for your colour palette and will match as closely as the season allows. We can't guarantee specific varieties (that's the nature of seasonal growing) but we'll always work to your scheme.
-
Not at all. Our flowers are naturally characterful and arrange themselves beautifully. It can be a fun and relaxing pre-wedding activity with friends, family, and a glass of prosecco! Many couples choose DIY buckets for their decorations and combine that with our prepared pieces option. There are thousands of tutorials online for inspiration.

A bridal bouquet typically uses 30-40 stems; a jam jar arrangement for a table can be around 8-15 depending on fullness; bud vases and buttonholes tend to be between 3-5 stems. Our brochure has a guide to help you work it all out - fill in the enquiry form at the bottom of this page and we’ll send this to you. We advise ordering around 10-15% more stems than you think you might need to allow for any damages during arranging. We’re happy to advise based on your specific arrangements, just send us an email at tom@moorfieldfarmflowers.co.uk.
-
Yes, always. We ask every couple for colour direction so we can match your palette as closely as the season allows. Tell us your scheme and we’ll do the rest.
